Product Description:
The SISIS Maxislit MX/160 model is recommended for large sports fields and golf course fairways. Optional rollers can be fitted. The angle of tine entry and the spiral shaft design allows maximum sub-surface action with minimum surface disruption. The Maxislit has a penetration depth of 7-9 inches (depending on conditions).

Turf Tips:
Compaction, caused by intensive play and heavy maintenance equipment, is the biggest single problem encountered by sports turf managers. Grass roots grow in the spaces between soil particles and when these spaces are reduced by surface compaction, the roots are deprived of air, water and nutrients, resulting in a weak, shallow root structure. Without strong root growth, the grass becomes weak and sparse and is prone to excessive wear and turf diseases.
